Maybe love isn't enough.

It's okay if you don't support me in music, it's okay if you don't support me being Christian, it's okay if you don't accept me for who i am and it's okay if you think i am a horrible daughter. I forgive you for never supporting me in anything but studies. Maybe not even that anymore now that i am thinking of applying to a Christian university. But then again, most universities in America are Christian anyway so there really isn't much of a choice for you.

But don't worry, i will still support you when you are older and need my help because i love you and i accept you for who you are. I support you for devoting your life to your family. I support you for loving your husband and children with all your heart. I support you for being an amazing mother and caring for my sisters and I. I support you for who you are.

I'm sorry for going against you but this is who i am. I am happy being Christian, i am happy being involved in music. Even though it matters what you think, i will still stay where i am happy because i will not put my happiness at stake for your happiness. This is my life and you brought me up to be independent and to make my own decisions.

I only hope you spoke better English and would understand what i am saying as i cannot read or write in Chinese.

God's Daughter

Remember when life seemed uncomplicated? If you think back, you'll realize that a time once existed when a pretty red dress that billowed when you danced could make you the happiest girl alive?

Where did those times go?

As much as those carefree days would be a welcome respite from the ups and downs of life today, it's also true that walking with God through the mountains and valleys of life has drawn you closer to Him. How much more do you know about Him because of where you've been together? How much more do you love Him because you've seen over and over how much He loves you?

You are a woman(same goes to guys) of God, but you are still His child - wide-eyed with wonder at His awesome presence and filled with joy at the truth of His promises. No matter what hurts or heartaches have come your way, your heavenly Father gathers and comforts you for the day ahead.

Yes, life is complex and complicated, but one simple truth cuts through all the static. You are a precious daughter of God.

Put on something red today and rejoice in the love of your Father in heaven!

Monday, 6th February 2012 Valentine's is coming!

Nope, i do not have a valentine nor do i think i would have one anytime soon because i don't know who would want to date me. I don't think i would date someone like me.

But, Valentine's Day shouldn't only be celebrated with the one you love. Love shouldn't only be shared with another person. Of course you can if you are not single, but for all the sexy singles out there, remember! You can find love in many other things, like in yourself :) so spend Valentines Day pampering yourself xD *trying to resist putting the Forever Alone meme picture*

So, my act of pampering myself for Valentine's Day was recreate this Valentine's Day nails from xclosetoreal's youtube. I LOVE IT!

This was what i came up with, using a nude colour as a base instead because i don't own a pink nail polish :( *pink nail polish added to wishlist*

I've recently gone back to enjoying Glee. Great singing, handsome boys, pretty girls... lots of scandal. Okay maybe it isn't the best of tv shows but it is pretty entertaining. SO MUCH DRAMA me likey.

Currently at season 2 episode 13. In this episode, Puck(the guy in the picture), a major casanova and bad boy, falls for a girl on the heavier side that's even badder than him. Girls like that aren't normally his type but this particular girl really caught his eye because of her personality and he's going all out in the courting. I seriously doubt that would happen in real life. Come on, there are no guys like that anymore in this world. I assume 98% of guys(people in general) will judge you from how you look and then decide whether they should make a move and say hi. I have never met anyone from the 2% before and i really hope i will someday but until i do, i am going to assume that all guys go for looks first and then personality.

Where is my real life Puck? :(

Seriously i think trouty mouth is the cutest guy EVER. Glee people are always teasing about how his mouth to head ratio is way off but i seriously don't see it. He's gorgeous! And he's the sweetest guy ever for accepting Quinn the way she is even with her messed up past.

Can't wait to finish season 2! Catch up later.
